So a funny thing happened this past weekend. I was scrolling through photos to send up for a profile shot and saw something I hadn’t noticed before. Had they always been there? Had a love of filters over the past few years covered it up? What in the world are these things on the side of my eyes? You see…I turned 41 this year, and we all know what a year it has been! 2020 became something else that none of us had ever imagined. January we celebrated a New Year and the oldest kid’s birthday, February was my birthday, … Continue reading Wrinkles, what wrinkles?
Last month a call went out for those who would be willing to share their studios for a Spring Clean Your Studio Blog Hop 2020. It just so happens I saw this request as we were in the middle of remodeling mine. Talk about perfect timing! How could I not want to join in on this fun! So welcome to my new studios, my latest creations, and the reason my husband says he is looking forward to going back to work (because he doesn’t have to do the physical labor work there). We have been in our home here in … Continue reading Clean that Studio!

Thankfully, their realtor contacted mine and told us to just make them an offer. We made an … Continue reading Day 2: Sewing Space
While attending Threads of Success during International Quilt Market in Houston, I had the opportunity to meet and sit through a few sessions with Cheryl Sleboda. I was very impressed with her work ethic in making this whole event a … Continue reading 31 Day Blog Challenge-Intro
After the opening session with Tula Pink at International Quilt Market 2019 Schoolhouse, I grabbed my schedule and took off to what I had thought would be my best course of action for gaining the most knowledge in such a short few hours. I had studied the schedule earlier, highlighting my game plan, planning my trip around the rooms. I made some right decisions, I made a few wrong decisions, and I made some changes as the day was progressing. What I did do right, I went, and I absorbed every bit of info that I possibly could. Schoolhouse was … Continue reading Schoolhouse Insanity…
